Medical Implant Component
A biocompatible orthopedic implant component designed to withstand cyclic loading over its expected service life.
Challenge
Meeting fatigue life requirements in a biocompatible material while keeping the part light enough for patient comfort.
Approach
Modeled the component in Siemens NX, prepared geometry for fracture and fatigue analysis, and refined fillets and wall thickness based on the results.
